Patent Search & Opinion	Search (of USPTO database only) for similar patents prior to filing. A search report and a patentability opinion by a registered patent attorney based on the search report, and your answers to our online questionnaire, are generally sent to you within 5-10 business days (prior to filing). Prof. Review, Consult. & Application Drafting	The following tasks will be performed prior to filing by a registered patent attorney if this service is selected: (1) review of your description/notes and drawings/sketches, which you submit through our online design patent questionnaire; (2) up to two (1 hour total), in-person, phone, or e-mail consultations with the inventor; (3) draft of the design patent application to include the parts required by the USPTO: preamble, figure(s) description, feature description, claim, oath, etc; does not include the professional drawings service ($325) described below; (4) recommend improvement of the B&W drawings or B&W pictures you have submitted, if necessary. Do I need this service?	Flat Fee: $425+ [Higher fees may apply to medium-high complexity inventions]
Prof. Drawings	Professional drawings (up to 7 viewpoints) based on your submitted sketches / drawings/pictures for design patent application (prior to filing). Do I need this service?	Flat Fee: $325
Application Filing	Your Design Patent Application is electronically filed with the USPTO by a registered patent attorney. You receive confirmation of filing and - among other benefits - you can start using the "Patent Pending" notice in connection with your invention. No review of the application is included in this service. It is just that : application filing. Therefore, this service should be ordered only if the above $425 service is also ordered.	Flat Fee: $295 [+ $230 USPTO filing fee for small entity]
After- Filing Services	One or more of the following services may or may not be necessary after the filing of the design patent application: response to office action(s), petition(s), appeal(s), submission of issue fee, interference, reexamination, reissue etc. None of the after-filing services are included in the services described and quoted above.
